Patricia T. Henssler, CPA

Patricia T. Henssler, CPA, is a Tax & Business Consultant with Henssler CPAs & Advisers, LLC, an affiliate company of Henssler Financial.

Her previous background includes two assistant professor positions at both Grand Valley State College in Michigan and Morris Brown College in Atlanta, Georgia. She was a Senior Staff Tax Accountant with Bennett Thrasher, P.C. before forming her own CPA firm, P.T. Henssler CPA, LLC. In 2019, the firm rebranded as Henssler CPAs & Advisers.

Ms. Henssler received her Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Toledo, her Master of Business Administration from Michigan State University, and attended Kennesaw State University for credits necessary for Certified Public Accountancy.

Ms. Henssler was named on the 2014 Atlanta Five Star Accounting and Estate Planning Professionals list in the October issue of Atlanta magazine. The Five Star award goes to tax consultants who satisfied 10 objective eligibility and evaluation requirements, identified by market-specific research. The survey considered 909 Certified Public Accountants, with 28 professionals named to the final list.

 

CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANTS (CPA) are licensed and regulated by their applicable state board of accountancy. Georgia requires CPAs to have a bachelor’s degree or higher with semester hour requirements in accounting and business-related subjects, successfully pass the Uniform CPA Exam, and one (1) year of continuous qualifying experience in accounting. To retain a CPA license, holders must complete 80 hours of continuing education every two (2) years.
