Michael Raiano, CPA, is a Family Office Accountant at Henssler Financial. Joining the firm in 2023, he works closely with Family Office Controller Tina Banks to help manage the complex financial affairs of high-net-worth individuals and their families.
As a Family Office Accountant, Mr. Raiano coordinates with high-net worth individuals on personal expenditures, investments, and cash flow needs. Thorough a broad range of family office services, including accounting, tax compliance, financial reporting, cash flow management, budgeting, and financial administration, Mr. Raiano helps clients simplify the day-to-day management of their financial lives while providing accurate reporting and coordination across trusts, LLCs, foundations, and other family entities. He also assists in preparation of fi lings for partnerships, individuals, and trusts.
Before joining Henssler Financial, Mr. Raiano spent nearly three years at EY, where he worked on the firm’s Tax Technology and Transformation team. In that role, he helped organizations modernize their tax and finance functions through technology, data analytics, and digital tax solutions. Outside of the office, he has volunteered as a builder with Habitat for Humanity.
Mr. Raiano earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Kennesaw State University. He is licensed in Georgia as a Certified Public Accountant, and was previously licensed in New York as a CPA. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Georgia Society of CPAs.
CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANTS (CPA) are licensed and regulated by their applicable state board of accountancy. Georgia requires CPAs to have a bachelor’s degree or higher with semester hour requirements in accounting and business-related subjects, successfully pass the Uniform CPA Exam, and one (1) year of continuous qualifying experience in accounting. To retain a CPA license, holders must complete 80 hours of continuing education every two (2) years.
