Luis Vargas joined Henssler Financial in September 2024 as an intern in the Planning & Implementation Department. Upon graduating in May 2026, he accepted a full-time position as a Financial Planner, supporting Managing Associate Melanie Wells, CFP®, and several Associates with preparing and updating client cash flow projections and ensuring appropriate asset allocation. He contributes to the development of client investment policy statements, compiles accurate client review data, and manages client meeting preparation and follow-up.
Mr. Vargas is responsible for assisting Associates with rebalancing accounts, opening and closing custodial accounts, monitoring cash flows, and adjusting clients’ financial plans as needed to accommodate life changes.
Before joining the firm, Mr. Vargas worked in retail, managing front-office operations, assisting customers with loading vehicles, and coordinating deliveries. During his time at Kennesaw State University, he was involved in the Recruitment, Retention, and Progression to Graduation Program for Hispanic and Latino Students.
Mr. Vargas earned Bachelor of Business Administration degrees in both Finance and Accounting from Kennesaw State University. He is fluent in Spanish.
