Indices ended trading with mixed moves on Wednesday. The Dow closed at a new record level while the S&P 500 and Nasdaq shed some points. In earnings moves, General Electric reported fourth-quarter profit of 27 cents a share, two cents shy of forecasts. Revenue of $31.402 billion was well below estimates. Shares of GE fell 2.50% today. On another note, United Technologies and Comcast Corp. reported quarterly data that exceeded expectations. For the session, United Technologies dipped 0.21% and Comcast added 1.30%. Looking elsewhere, crude oil ramped up. West Texas Intermediate crude tacked on 0.76% to settle at $64.96 a barrel.
