A Red Session

Friday’s trading session ended in the red zone. Bank of America, Intel, and General Electric led declines on the Dow. Stocks dipped ahead of Greece’s confidence vote and less-than-stellar data on U.S. employment. The Labor Department said the economy added 80,000 jobs in October. The expectation had been for an addition of 95,000. Additionally, the unemployment rate hit 9%, following a 9.1% pace in September. On another note, crude oil tacked on 19 cents to settle at $94.26 a barrel. Looking ahead, earnings are due for release next week from the likes of Priceline, Macy’s, and Cisco Systems.
