Theodore L. Parrish, CFA, is a Principal and Director of Investments at The Henssler Financial Group, a financial planning and money management firm with assets under advisement of more than $1.1 billion as of December 31, 2009. The firm is located in Kennesaw, Georgia, a suburb of Atlanta. Since joining the firm in 1995, his responsibilities include managing all research and trading activities of the firm.

In 1998, Mr. Parrish became Principal and Vice President of Portfolio Management for Henssler Asset Management, LLC, a financial consulting and money management firm and adviser to The Henssler Equity Fund (HEQFX). Henssler Asset Management, LLC is a member of The Henssler Financial Group. Using his keen instincts and analytical skills, Mr. Parrish worked directly with Gene Henssler, Ph.D., on the team that created The Henssler Equity Fund, which was introduced to the marketplace in June 1998. As Co-Portfolio Manager of HEQFX since its inception, Mr. Parrish continues to oversee all trading and research activities for HEQFX.

Mr. Parrish was named to Georgia Trend’s “40 Under 40” list for 2009 that represents 40 high-achieving Georgians under the age of 40 who are influencing the state’s future in business, government, education, the arts and charitable organizations. He was selected from 165 nominated candidates from around the state who are helping shape Georgia’s future through their business and community involvement.

Mr. Parrish was also recognized on the 2009 FIVE STAR Best in Client Satisfaction Wealth Managers list in the October issue of Atlanta Magazine. He was honored among 579 of Atlanta’s top-scoring wealth managers who embody the characteristics that make up great client satisfaction. The magazine estimates there are more than 15,000 wealth managers in the Atlanta area.

Mr. Parrish has been extensively interviewed in Investor's Business Daily, The Wall Street Journal, Investment News, Black Enterprise Magazine, CNNMoney.com, CBSMarketWatch, Bloomberg Markets, Standard & Poor's, USA Today, Barron’s and other mainstream publications and web sites. In demand for his knowledge of investment strategy and the market, he conducts investment seminars for the firm and has been invited as a guest speaker for both investment and student groups. Mr. Parrish received his Bachelor of Business Administration, majoring in Finance, from Kennesaw State University. He holds the Series 7, Series 63 and Series 65 registrations and is a CFA charterholder. Mr. Parrish is a member of the Atlanta Society of Financial Analysts, a member of the National Association of Securities Professionals (NASP) and an affiliate of the CFA Institute.
