William G. Lako, Jr., CFP^®, is a Principal and Managing Director at The Henssler Financial Group, a financial planning and money management firm with assets under advisement of more than $1.08 billion as of June 30, 2010. The firm is located in Kennesaw, Georgia, a suburb of Atlanta. Since joining the firm in 1995, his responsibilities include personally managing client assets, as well as overall company management.

In 1998, Mr. Lako became Principal and Managing Director of Henssler Asset Management, LLC, a financial advisory firm and the adviser to The Henssler Equity Fund. Mr. Lako also serves as Vice President of The Henssler Funds, Inc. Henssler Asset Management is a member of The Henssler Financial Group.

Mr. Lako's opinions have been requested by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Atlanta Business Chronicle, Atlanta's CBS affiliate and nationally syndicated news features. Mr. Lako has appeared on CNBC.

As a member of the Cobb County Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Lako is a 2007 graduate of the Honorary Commanders program. The Honorary Commanders Association annually selects community and business leaders and pairs them with military commanders in a yearlong program, giving those leaders the opportunity to learn more about local military activities, their impact on our economy and various aspects of the national defense system.

Mr. Lako was named on the 2009 FIVE STAR Best in Client Satisfaction Wealth Managers list in the October issue of Atlanta Magazine. He was honored among 579 of Atlanta’s top-scoring wealth managers who embody the characteristics that make up great client satisfaction. The magazine estimates there are more than 15,000 wealth managers in the Atlanta area. This distinction marks the second year he has been named to the list.

Mr. Lako received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, majoring in Finance, from Kennesaw State University. He holds the Series 7, Series 26, Series 28, Series 63 and Series 65 registrations. Mr. Lako has obtained his CFP^® certification.
