Daniel J. DiLuzio, C.P.A., founded Dickinson & DiLuzio, Certified Public Accountants, LLC in 1991 with business partner Dennis Dickinson. Bringing more than 20 years experience in public accounting and auditing, Tammie Jakes, C.P.A., CVA, joined Henssler Financial as a Tax Consultant in March 2007. She consults with new and existing clients regarding tax matters, as well as the preparation of corporate, partnership and individual tax returns. As a Certified Valuation Analyst accredited through the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts, Ms. Jakes is particularly qualified to provide business valuation services. Her extensive training, experience in tax, auditing, accounting for small businesses and financial analysis, provides Ms. Jakes with an excellent background for dealing with the complexities involved in providing valuation services. Prior to joining Henssler Financial, Ms. Jakes held a position as Senior Accountant at AGL Resources, Inc. and as a business tax and financial consultant with a local C.P.A. firm. Ms. Jakes' public accounting experience includes tenure as a consultant working with Ernst & Young in Restructuring & Reorganization. She has more than eight years experience in internal auditing for major corporations, and has acted as a liaison with external auditors at Deloitte & Touche. Ms. Jakes has performed audits for several privately held companies while working for public accounting firms. Her audit experience includes audits for the Parent-Teacher Associations of elementary, middle and high schools in Cobb County, as well as other non-profit organizations. Ms. Jakes earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting degree from Clayton State University in Morrow, Ga. Kathy Moore-Nietrzeba, C.P.A., brings more than 25 years of expertise to Henssler Financial’s Tax & Accounting Division and public accounting firm P.T. Henssler, C.P.A., LLC. She joined the firm in July 2005 as a Tax Consultant and has risen to her current position as Co-Manager of the Tax & Accounting Division. She consults with clients year-round on tax planning as well as the annual preparation of their corporate, partnership, estates, trusts and individual tax returns. She specializes in the medical industry but enjoys working with all types of small businesses. Her extensive training and experience in accounting for small businesses provides Ms. Moore-Nietrzeba an excellent foundation for dealing with the complexities involved in start-up businesses or assuming the successor tax consultant role. Part of her year-round tax consulting involves staying on the cutting edge of new tax credits and deductions, such as, cost segregation for those who own their own buildings, and federal and state tax credits for retraining employees or even for hiring certain employees. Her previous background includes experience in public and private accounting both for an investment management firm and her own C.P.A. firm. Ms. Moore-Nietrzeba received her Bachelor of Business Administration from Kennesaw State University and her Certified Public Accounting certification. His previous experience includes operating his own advisory services firm for nearly four years. Throughout his career, he has provided clients with tax preparation and planning services, financial planning, investment portfolio design and trade implementation. Mr. Crowe is also experienced in portfolio accounting, performance reporting and compliance filings. She currently specializes in tax and accounting services for closely held businesses, estates and fiduciaries. Emily Cowan, C.P.A. - Tax Consultant

Emily Cowan, C.P.A., joined the firm in 2005 as a Junior Accountant, with responsibilities that included implementing and documenting record keeping and accounting for accounts payable and accounts receivable. As a Tax Consultant, her responsibilities include computing taxes owed and preparing tax returns, and ensuring compliance with payment, reporting and other tax requirements. She also provides tax planning, bookkeeping and payroll services to our clients. Ms. Cowan earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration from Kennesaw State University.
